Event Description

About the book

Thanks for the Feedback demystifies the knee-jerk reactions and favouritism we all experience when receiving (or doling out) criticism. If you coach and manage people or have received hurtful feedback in the past, this discussion will help you pass on the best, most productive feedback and ensure you receive the same level of evaluation from others.

  • Learn about the three main types of feedback that actually work and when to give them
  • Understand the role genes play in how you receive feedback – and the triggers that get in your way
  • Extract valuable info about you, your performance and the givers’ true intentions when you’re on feedback’s receiving end
  • Master the art of giving yourself a “second score” after the initial feedback blow (how did you handle yourself? How did you respond?)

There are so many good tips in this book that we can’t wait to share! Every conversation has the potential to be a constructive one when you start treating feedback as a gift. This session will expand your neuroscience vocab and make you the comeback queen/king when feedback stings.
