Join Colin Macrae of Electronic Arts to learn how he designed the next step in his career!
There are points in our career (particularly at the dawn of the New Year) where we stop and ask ourselves “What’s next?” “How do I move into leadership?” “How do I shape the next 10 years?” “Am I really using my strengths and doing what I love?”
How do you go from asking questions to designing the career and life you want? Ask Colin Macrae, the Senior Director of Global Strategic Communications at Electronic Arts, who was inspired by the book Designing your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life, by Stanford University’s Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. The book provided Colin with an inspiring framework based on design principles, to examine his work and his life, and ultimately, land his dream job within Electronic Arts.
The Designing Your Life journey is a transformative experience which addresses:
- The power of collaboration with friends and colleagues
- The pathway to unlocking the creative elements that exist in all of us
- The empowerment that comes with taking risks in your personal and professional growth
Colin will tell his story through an interview format with Della Smith, Principal of Q Workshops (and another mad fan of the book). Join us for a fresh perspective on career exploration, and designing your own fulfilling career and joyful life.
