CREATING CULTURES THAT ROCK: YOU’RE RIDICULOUSLY IN CHARGE | BREAKFAST SESSION

$59.95

If you could create a culture that attracts top talent, engages teams, empowers high-performance and delivers results, what would it look like?  “In the end, as a leader, you are always going to get a combination of two things: what you create and what you allow.” (Henry Cloud)  The good news is, as leaders we are ridiculously in charge, and if we fully own what we create and what we allow and set boundaries, we can build our dream cultures.

About the book

“Ultimately, leadership is about turning a vision into reality; it’s about producing real results in the real world.” – Henry Cloud, Boundaries for Leaders

Work culture doesn’t just happen. It’s a combination of what you create, and what you allow. Henry Cloud urges leaders to focus less on “the plan,” and instead, turn their attention to the people. In Boundaries for Leaders: Results, Relationships, and Being Ridiculously in Charge, Dr. Cloud explains the power of brain science in coaxing the best outcomes from employees. Boundaries are interpreted by the brain similar to property lines, and as a leader, you are in charge of what happens within the property (or boundaries). Establishing firm boundaries supports a team through distractions that can block results:

  • Focus: What are we doing?
  • Emotional Climate: What does it feel like to work here?
  • Disconnection: Where’s my buddy?
  • Negative Thinking: Yes we can!
  • Control: What can I do that matters?

Dr. Cloud’s Boundaries for Leaders offers thoughtful insight and real-life examples of effective leadership and managing positive values and culture within the workplace.
